July 6, 2025 was a day of dedication and renewal, the induction of the Reverend Adrian Sieunarine, and the rebranding of our Church
At a deeply meaningful joint service held at the Barrow Memorial Church, we witnessed a sacred moment in the life of our denomination - the induction of Reverend Sieunarine as minister within the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Trinidad and Tobago (RPCTT).
Reverend Sieunarine will now minister to the congregations of Port of Spain, Arouca and Sangre Grande, working in pastoral partnership with the Reverend Denyse Rattansingh-Atwarie, who began her ministry in 2000 and was ordained as a minister in 2009. Her faithful service over the years has been a blessing to us all. Together, they will shepherd our communities as we step boldly into a renewed season of ministry.
The day also marked the public unveiling of our new name, the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Trinidad and Tobago. This rebranding is not a departure from our heritage, but a deepening of it. It reflects our continuing journey as a church rooted in Reformed theology and Presbyterian order, but also grounded in the Caribbean context - called to serve faith fully, prophetically, and compassionately in Trinidad and Tobago.
The joint service reminded us that we are one body in Christ, united in mission and strengthened by tradition and hope. We give thanks for Reverend Sieunarine's induction, Reverend Rattansingh-Atwarie's enduring ministry, and for the reawakening of our collective identity. We look forward with faith, ready to answer God's call in this new season.
To God be the glory
